Danny is the first California born Vivoli from our family. What a playfull, affectionate, wonderfull son! He is particularly good at anything involving art and science. I cherish a journal he wrote about himself in 4th grade. It has some wonderful entries but here is one of my favorites:
My Family - October 13, 1997
Hello. I have 7 people in my family (if you include our 2 pet rats). I have a pet rat named Bart. She is a girl. I guess you're wondering why I named a girl rat Bart. I have some wierd names! The other rat is Maggie. Tony is my brother. He is 7 years old. Sarah, my sister, is 3 years old. They both bug me all the time. My mom is very nice! She is a writer. She works at home. My dad works at a computer company which is Silicon Graphics. He brings home a lot of cool stuff.
In the same journal Danny describes himself as energetic, active, caring, friendly, clever, funny kid, curious boy, sometimes trouble and always fun. What amazes me about this description is that I don't think I could describe him more accurately. Guess he's pretty smart too. He must take after his old man (o.k. his mom might have something to do with it!)
